Whitsand Bay Self Catering Holiday Rental Accommodation

Windwhistle chalet is a beautiful two bedroom chalet located on Tregonhawke Cliff at Whitsand Bay Cornwall. Windwhistle has beautiful views overlooking the sea and the sandy beaches of Whitsand Bay. To the east is Rame Head and to the west you have views along the coast to the holiday town of Looe in the distance.

The chalet is about 200 metres from the Coastal Path which runs all the way round the coast of Cornwall and offers a paradise for walkers to enjoy scenic views. Polhawn Fort is a short walk away down the coastal path. Whitsand Bay and the surrounding area is often known as Cornwall’s forgotten corner as it is off the beaten track followed many holidaymakers to Cornwall and as such is a haven of tranquillity.

From Windwhistle it is a short walk down the cliff to the sandy beaches of Whitsand Bay which is a delight for children and adults alike. There are beautiful walks along the Coastal path to Rame Head and round the coast beyond to the pretty seaside villages of Cawsand and Kingsand with their pubs and places to eat. Beyond Kingsand the Coastal path takes you through the Mount Edgcumbe park with its beautiful tree lined paths and sea views.

At Mount Edgcumbe House there are formal gardens that are open to the public, the Orangery which is run as a café and the landing at Cremyll where you can board a ferry to Plymouth.
