Our Whitsand Bay Recommendations, here are our favourite things to see and do in Whitsand Bay.
Some are well know, some not so well known. Have a look around as we have included photos, videos, information and links.
They are in no particular order.
1. Have A Surfing Lesson
We highly recommend having a surfing lesson with Adventure Bay Surf School, they are located at Eddystone Cafe on Tregonhawke Beach. A 5 minute walk down the cliff from Windwhistle Chalet.
Please make sure you book in advance as they do get very busy in peak season.
2. Brunch At The Cliff Top Cafe
We absolutely love the food served at the Cliff Top Cafe on the top of Tregonhawke Cliff. The views are simply stunning and it is only short walk from Windwhistle up the cliff. They are open 7 days a week from 10am until 4pm.
3. Look Out For Dolphins!
Whether you are hiring a boat, taking a ferry or observing from shore with a pair of binoculars. You may be lucky enough to spot a pod of dolphins in Whitsand Bay.
4. Fly on the 490 metre zip wire and jump off the Blob
Adrenaline Quarry near Liskeard is only a short drive away from Whitsand Bay, but well worth it! Fly down at 50mph on the 490m long zip wire. They also have an Aquapark and coasteering.
5. Walk to Rame Head
The views from Rame Head are breathtakingly beutiful, it really is worth a visit.
6. Explore Cawsand and Kingsand
Cawsand and Kingsand are twinned villages with their own beaches to visit.
7. BBQ
It would be rude not to have a BBQ when your staying at Windwhistle Chalet, our lower garden has the most spectacular views with plenty of room for the family.
8. Take The Dog For A Walk
